I was 18 months old when I was first plopped onto the tolerant back of a horse. At 4, I started taking riding lessons and at 7, I got my first point-and-shoot camera. Horses and photography are a huge part of my life, and a passion that I love sharing with others.

I graduated from NC State’s College of Design in 2010 with a concentration in photography and have been pursuing photography as a business ever since.

The most compelling aspect of photographing horses and their humans is capturing the unique, unspoken bond that equestrians have. In every session, my goal is to reveal the inner workings of a pair’s personality, all while putting my subjects at ease while emphasizing a safe and relaxed environment for biped and quadripeds alike.
